Woody was a great friend and advisor. I learned a lot about politics from him, and I'm sure so did many other people. Woody was the leader of the "Rascal's Breakfast" meetings. Everyone that attended always had a great time, and always received very important information at these meetings. Republicans in Allegheny County have lost a great asset. Woody, you will be missed very much and by many people.

Eternal rest, grant unto Woody, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May all the souls of the faithful departed
through the mercy of God rest in peace.

Diane, Amy and Family,

What a terrific man! I was so sorry to hear of your loss of Woody.

No one was more dedicated to his Family, his God, his Country and the Republican Party. He will be sorely missed by the many thousands of people whose lives he touched in such a positive way.

He helped me so much, with his political expertise, his strong loyalty, his enthusiasm, his hard work, and his belief in what I wanted to accomplish for Allegheny County. He always stood for what is right, and never wavered.

Unfortunately, Carole and I are out of town on vacation, and will be unable to pay our respects in person. The world, and Allegheny County in particular, are much better because Woody cared so much and worked so hard on our behalf.

I knew Woody through the Triumph Association. What a great guy. His family and friends surely had a wonderful member. A coming home to God. Your loss is only temporary. Heaven's gain is wonderful.
