James Frederick Oehling Jr. Age 71, of Palmyra PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in Pittsburgh PA. He was born on August 28, 1947 in Pittsburgh. Son of James F. Oehling Sr. and the late LaVerne (Holmes) Oehling. He is survived by his wife, Liza A. Oehling; dear son of James F. Oehling Sr.; loving father of Edward J. Oehling, Heather L. Hilpert, Jason Oehling, and John A. Crum; Proud grandfather of 11; brother of Karen Nosseck; he is preceded by his mother LaVerne, brother Michael and his first wife Cheryl Eaton. James graduated from Shaler High School in 1965. He worked for American Water Works for over 40 years. Friends will be received on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd. 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Sharpsburg. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in his memory or you may make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.

Condolences to the Oehling family. Jim and I worked together for about 30 years. Jim shared his sense of humor both at work and socially. We remained the end and I will miss him.
