Anthony F. "Tony" Amendola

Anthony F. "Tony" Amendola, Age 82, of Larimer Ave., passed away peacefully surrounded by the people he loved and the people who loved him on Friday, Aug 13, 2026. Beloved husband of 60 years to Rita Amendola; loving father of Gina McCall (Gary Ventrice) and Laura (Richard) Houston; Devoted Pap of Katie (Kaleb) Reckley, Nicholas (Hailey) McCall, Richie Houston, Lola Houston and the late Zachary Houston; Great Pap Pap of Paisley, Remi Rose and Nellie Lucia; dear brother of Mary Lou Stagno (Bobby Ranker) and Francis (Maureen) Amendola; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family patriarch, he was young at heart, loud, unapologetically unfiltered, and full of life. He loved his family fiercely. He was a good man, a great father, and a loyal husband to his Rita. Semper Fi. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Jude Parish, St. Raphael Church, Morningside, on Monday at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital OR to the Veterans Foundation of America.
