Arlene C. (Swartz) Puthenpurayil, age 82, of Pittsburgh passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Joseph K. Puthenpurayil and loving mother of Lisa (Steve) Myles, Kurian (Michelle) and Leslie (Rob) Purchase and proud grandma of 8. Arlene worked as a teacher in a few area high schools and elementary schools, mostly in special education. Friends will be received on Friday from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. Friends are invited to stay for a Catholic blessing service immediately following the viewing.
