Cecilia A. Schreiber

Cecilia A. (Kalka) Schreiber, age 85, of Shaler Twp., passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Paul W. Schreiber; loving mother of Les (Valerie) and Elaine (Walter “Hoody”) Hood; proud grandma of Erik (Kiera) Hood, Kelly (Dan) Hood, Lindsey (Jared) Schreiber, Paul (Tyler) Schreiber, Shawn Hood and Mary Schreiber; Dear great-grandma of Loretta and Kinsley; Cecilia was proud to be the oldest of her eight beloved siblings. Throughout her life, Cecilia worked in different fields, horticulture, real estate, and teaching computers at the Shaler/North Hills library. In her later years she enjoyed researching and exploring her family history. Friends will be received on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM.
