Charles "Chuck" J. Kaib

Charles J. “Chuck” Kaib, age 95, of Shaler Twp., formerly of Spring Hill, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2024. Cherished brother of Mildred “Millie” (late Lawrence J.) Kozar and Joseph (Marianne) Kaib; loving uncle of Janet (DuWayne) Astle and Linda (Tom) DuPlessis; dear great uncle of Melinda (Steven) Gaus, Matthew (Amy) DuPlessis, Michael DuPlessis, and Lauren DuPlessis and great great uncle of Rory DuPlessis. Chuck proudly served his country in the US Army stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict where he forged lifelong friendships. He was a carpenter by trade with a side gig as a clarinet and saxophone player in the band the Melody Mixers. Chuck enjoyed traveling all around the world and was a devoted caregiver to his parents. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Vincentian Personal Care, Bridges Hospice, and the residents and management at Villa Royal Apartments. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 12 noon at St. Matthew Parish, St. Bonaventure Church, Glenshaw. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Joseph House of Hospitality OR St. Vincent de Paul C/O Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.
