Columbo A. Bencivenga

Columbo Bencivenga, age 96, of Lake Worth, Florida, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his wife of 73 years Adeline (Salerno) on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Father of Chico (Sharon O’Leary), Vince (Tina Blythe) Bencivenga, Christine Londino (Tony) and Bonita Criswell (Paul). Eleven grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by five siblings. Brother-in-law to Patricia Wega. He was a proud Veteran who served in the 82nd Army Airborne Division from 1945 to 1949. Many will remember him as the owner alongside his wife of Emerico’s Bar and Restaurant on Mt. Royal Blvd. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 8 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Matthew Parish, St Bonaventure Church, Glenshaw.
