David L. Petrakos

David Petrakos of Shaler Township, PA passed away peacefully on June 10^th 2024. Devoted son to Jim and Cathy Petrakos and supportive Brother to Nicole Millett (Carter) and Jimmy Petrakos (Katie). Dave was the cherished fiancé of Melissa Steiner, with whom he shared countless precious moments and dreams for the future. A proud father to Senna Urso (Matt)and Ayden Petrakos with who he shared with his former wife Denise Petrakos. Loving Grandfather to Callie Urso. A proud stepfather to Olivia, Abigail, and Caroline Radzminiski. Dave found immense joy in is family. His devotion to his children and stepchildren was unwavering, and his legacy will continue through the love he shared with them. Dave was an uncle to many nieces and nephew, Mason, Courtney, Ryan, Kelden, Quinten, Jaxson, Danielle, Marissa and Bobby. Dave loved trips to the Isle of Palms, SC and weekend away at Aunt Jenny’s cottage in Althom. He was a supposed fan of Pittsburgh sports although his Facebook posts may say otherwise. He made a significant impact in the Shaler and Etna communities as a dedicated softball/baseball coach. Dave will be remembered for his easy smile, magnetic personality, a touch of stubbornness, and a huge heart. Friends will be received on Friday from 1 to 8 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, where a Celebration on Life Service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM. Private Interment will follow.
