Ellen (Ricci) Peters

Ellen (Ricci) Peters, of Shaler Twp., formerly of Bloomfield, passed away Tuesday May 14th 2024. Ellen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George A. Peters, her parents Nicodemo and Antoinette Ricci, and sisters Elizabeth Scott and Rosemarie Kriston. She is survived by her sons George (Joan) Peters of Lakewood NJ, and Wayne (Rhonda) Peters, of Scottsboro, AL, and her daughter, Valerie Peters Brescia, of Glenshaw. She is also survived by her Sister, Joann(Anthony) Balistrieri of Shaler Twp, Grandchildren Julia(Scott) Smith, of Shaler Twp, Kristopher Brescia of Glenshaw, and Zachary (Nicole) Peters, of Lakewood NJ, and five great-grandchildren: Kaylee Pietrala, Lillian and Sienna Smith, and Jaxon and Adrielle Peters. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Ellen loved playing bingo, going to the casino, talking on the phone with her sisters, and most of all being the center of attention; she left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Friends will be received Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd. 1500 Mount Royal Blvd. Glenshaw. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
