Florence "Flo" I. Bruckman

Florence “Flo” (Gormley) Bruckman, age 82, of McCandless Twp., passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Richard “Dick” Bruckman; loving mother of Barbara L. Camus, Richard C. (Lisa) Bruckman, and Katherine A. (Roger) Gasper; proud grandmother of David and Danny Camus, Declan Bruckman, and Brenden, Landon, and Emerson Gasper; dear sister of the late Elizabeth J. (Don) Sullivan and Bill (Surviving Yvonne) Gormley; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Flo worked as a secretary for 10 years for Gulf Oil and later for Laurel Savings Bank in Etna. She was a longtime member of the North Hills Community Baptist Church and loved engaging with an online Bible study group in recent years. Flo enjoyed gardening and was an avid Steelers fan, cheering on her favorite team each season. She and her family spent many summer weekends at their cottage on Conneaut Lake where they went on long boat rides and relaxed on the porch. Flo always looked forward to gathering and sharing a meal with her friends and family. Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 11 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral Service will be held at North Hills Community Baptist Church on Thompson Run Rd. on Wednesday, April 12 at 1pm. Friends and family are welcome to join the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to North Hills Community Baptist Church or Gateway Hospice of Pittsburgh.  Both organizations provided tremendous comfort and support to Flo and her family throughout the past year.
