Jane Veronica “Janie” Neely, Age 90, of Shaler Township, died peacefully on October 1, 2022, at Harmony at Hart’s Run Assisted Care Living Home. She was born November 14, 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA.  Jane was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church, Etna, PA, where she served as a long time member and once former president of the All Saints Christian Mother’s Guild. Jane also served as a Shaler Township Democratic Committee member for over 50 years. She was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed swimming at the Crawford Pool in Shaler Twp. She loved her hometown of Pittsburgh but enjoyed most spending time with her friends and family. Survived by her children, Rebecca Hastings (Douglas), Jacqueline Idzakovich (Edward), James Neely, Mary Jo Cohen (Michael); son-in-law, David Polm; grandchildren, Amy Hill (Mark), Douglas Hastings (Rhonda), Kelly Neely, Danielle Neely, and Caroline Cohen; great grandchildren, Xander Hill, Madalyn Hill, Parker Hill, and Jocelyn Hastings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Veronica and Simon Lach; husband, William (Bill) Neely; daughter, Jane (Rusty) Polm; siblings, Stanley Lach, Adam Lach, Anthony Lach, Domicella (Sally) Lach, Regina Lach and Clara Lach. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bock Funeral Home, 1500 Mount Royal Boulevard, Glenshaw, PA 15116. Visitation is Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Matthew Parish, All Saints Church, Etna, on Tuesday at 10 AM. ALL WISHING TO ATTEND THE FUNERAL MASS SHOULD MEET AT THE CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shaler North Hills Library.
