Joseph Zavolta

Joseph Zavolta Sr., 83, of Shaler, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loved ones, on Sunday, Aug. 16. He was the beloved husband of Denise (Hudach) Zavolta. He was the loving father of Joseph Zavolta Jr., Eric Zavolta, Paul Zavolta, Chris Zavolta and Nick Zavolta, and bonus father to Pam Sulecki and Amanda (Sulecki) Bogart. Joseph was the brother of Eleanor Minyo, and the late Frank Zavolta and Anthony Zavolta. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Daniella Zavolta, and sister-in-law, Mary Biondo. He was a proud grandfather to Nicolette Zavolta, Joseph Zavolta III, Brandon Kay, Alex Kay, Antonio Zavolta, Isabella Zavolta and Andrew Zavolta, and bonus grandfather to Madison Bogart and Morgan Bogart. He was also a great-grandfather to Peyton Kay, Colton Kay and Colbie Kay. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends and family will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bock Funeral Home, Ltd. 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116
