Mary Jane (Soeder) Tabacjar, 88, of Glenshaw, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 26, 2024 surrounded by her family. Mary Jane, daughter of the late Leo and Regina Soeder and sister of the late Eileen Soeder Lund is survived by her husband of 67 years Carl Tabacjar, Sr; children Carl (Jennifer) Tabacjar, Jr., Karen (David) Handzlik, Nancy (Michael) Ware, and Linda (Joseph) Arnone. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren Ryan (Jenny), Kristin, Allison, Christopher, Michael (Anna), Brendan, Alexander, Nicole and Lauren and great-grandchildren Owen, Iler, and Bennett as well as many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. A special thank you to the kind and loving staff at Vincentian Home Memory Lane where Mary Jane most recently resided. The staff first accepted Mary Jane as an unofficial "helper" as she visited her husband, and then lovingly transitioned her to a resident in her final months. What a blessing to have encountered so much care and compassion as they continue to care for Carl. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, April 1st at Bock Funeral Home, Ltd. 1500 Mount Royal Blvd Glenshaw. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish: St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Glenshaw on Tuesday, April 2nd at 10:30 AM. (Everyone Please Meet at the Church) In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Vincentian Home Memory Lane, 111 Perrymont Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
