Mary Lou Kruth

In loving memory of Mary Lou Kruth, who passed away at the age of 81 on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. She was the precious wife of George B. Kruth and a cherished mother and grandmother. She was the beloved mother to Doug (Lynne) Kruth, Linda (Bill) Ewonce, Laura Kruth, Marcia (Oscar) Solorzano, Megan Kruth, and Erin (Zach) Lewis, and an adored grandmother to Amber Ewonce, Ashley Ewonce, Ian Solorzano, and Logan Solorzano. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Sladic and John Moelter (stepfather), and sister of the late Leonard (Carolyn) Sladic. Mary Lou was known for her caring spirit and selfless ways, making everyone feel special and loved. She was the heart and cornerstone of our family. Mary Lou and her husband shared 65 years of love and enjoyed gardening, walking, and spending time with their children and grandchildren. She was nicknamed the "Yahtzee Queen" by family members for her love of the game and her favorable luck. She will be remembered for her constant love, support, and laughter, her famous chocolate chip and sugar cookies, and treasured moments spent at Narcisi Winery with family and friends. She will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed by all. Friends will be received on Sunday from 3 to 8 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
