Richard J. Gallagher

Richard J Gallagher, 75 of Ross Township, went home to his Lord and Savior on June 4, 2025. For those who knew him, he had three passions in life – his love for Jesus Christ, his Memorial Park Church family and friends, and his Pittsburgh sports teams. Richard grew up in Shaler, PA and was a staple at local high school sporting events. He worked for many years at Giant Eagle, before retiring. His genuine love and concern for others was a true blessing for those who knew him.Richard is preceded in death by his mother and father Betty Jane Gallagher and James P. Gallagher of Glenshaw, PA, along with his sister Sharon J. Gallagher, of Hamburg, N.Y. He will be greatly missed by his church family and friends. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. at Memorial Park Church, 8800 Peebles Road, Allison Park, PA. In lieu of flowers, friends can make a donation in Richard’s name to Memorial Park Church.
