Richard A. Zimmerman

Richard A. Zimmerman, age 79, of Dorseyville PA on Saturday September 7, 2024. Father of Keith D. Zimmerman; brother of Ella Mae Connelly; beloved friend and caregiver, Cheryl Bash; son of the late Rosella and Albert Zimmerman. Rich was a U S Army veteran during the Vietnam Conflict, most of his career he worked as an auto body manager and claims adjuster. He was also a maintenance and shop supervisor for an electrical contractor. He was a lifelong member of the Valencia Volunteer Fire Department # 17 and later a member of the Dorseyville Volunteer Fire Co. # 172. Rich was born and raised in the Dorseyville Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd. 1500 Mount Royal Blvd. Glenshaw. A Funeral Service will be held in the Dorseyville Alliance Church 3703 Saxonburg Blvd. Pittsburgh PA 15238 on Thursday at 11:00 AM.
