Thomas A. Koedel

Thomas A. Koedel, of Ross Township, Age 73 passed away on Wednesday, May 22, after a valiant battle with diabetes. Tom was the son of the late Lelend J. and Anna Mae Koedel. He was preceded in death by twin sons, Thomas Christopher and Timothy Leland Koedel, also by his sister Dorothy Anderson, brother, John Koedel and brother in law Dave Borland. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 47 years, Harriett Koedel, son Donald Koedel, his sister Sally Borland, sister in law Carol Koedel, and several nieces and nephews. Tom was a Ross Township Police Officer for 37 years, a founding member of Ross/WV EMS and an EMT for 10 years, a member of Civil Air Patrol for 31 years and an Eagle Scout and scout leader. Friends will be received at Bock Funeral Home, 1500 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw on Saturday, May 25^th  From 12 to 3:30 PM with a funeral service immediately following. Burial will be private. “Oh Captain, My Captain thy fearful trip is done. The ship is anchored safe and sound, its voyage closed, the battle won”.
