William G. Balzer Sr.

William G. “Pops” Balzer Sr., age 74, of Shaler Twp., passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2025. Beloved husband of 53 years to June (Parks) Balzer; father of Bill Jr. (late Jennifer), Tim (Melissa), Susie (Jason) Collins; pappy of Greyson, Saralyn, and Will; twin brother of Paul Balzer and sister Mary Carol (Robert) Morrow; preceded in death by parents Paul and Helen Balzer Sr. Bill and June enjoyed playing Mr. and Mrs. Claus for many years for Sharps Hill. No visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 AM in Christ the King Parish, St. Mary’s Church, Sharpsburg.
